Spinal column and energy flow

Our body is supported by the spinal column. As a channel for the nerves in the back, it creates an indispensable connection between brain and body.
Each disturbance in the process of the spinal column radiates into the arms, the head, the legs, but also into the organs. Deviations of the spinal column (e.g. hollow back, hunchback or scoliosis) block the energy flow and decrease the vitality.
Our body not only reflects our way of life but also our spirit and state of mind, with spinal column training it's STRETCHING before STRENGTHENING and MOBILIZING.
The special exercises for this are coordinated individually to your needs and abilities. Our spinal column is a complex structure made of vertebral bodies and joints, which give it stability and mobility. This basically supporting body beam needs a certain carrying load and movement in order to maintain an erect stance and balance

Progressive muscle relaxation according to Jakobsen

This progressive muscle relaxation allows the possibility of reaching a certain form of relaxation. Edmund Jakobsen, a Swedish physician, immigrated to the USA at the beginning of this century, developed and taught the method of muscle relaxation at Harvard University . Jakobsen recognized that by purposeful tensing and abrupt loosening of individual muscle groups, a demonstrable improvement of relaxation can be achieved - physical and psychological. These exercises are fast and easy to learn and practically applicable everywhere. The success is dependant on the relaxation ability being firmly embodied in the body through the use of regular training.

Relaxation

Peace and relaxation are of central importance for our well-being and our health. Both come short in the daily hectic ness.
Psychologically, relaxation is often experienced as peace and calmness. It leads to an increase of perception, so that in a relaxed condition, external irritations are unable to penetrate, loosing the ability to release reactions. Relaxation can not be forced, but needs an internal readiness. The participation to relaxation should therefore be voluntary. You will see - it's good for body, spirit and soul!
