A Llama Trekking tour in the middle of the idyllic mountain countryside of the Gasteiner-valley, as a particularly special experience away from the hectic and the crowds. After short general information and introduction about handling Llamas as an animal of burden, these very trusting animals which are quite rare in this country are then saddled and loaded with backpacks. Together with well-informed guides we take an easy ride via the "Brandebengut" and the "Hubertuskapelle" for approximately 2 hours up to the "Riedl Alp". Afterwards you can expect a sumptuous Alp-buffet and a drink to put you back on the right path before the tour continues back home after a cozy hut stopover.

The luck of the earth lies for riding sportsmen on the back of the horses. In Gastein, people and animals are gladly seen - and both feel equally happy: With wonderful rides in the practically untouched Valley-landscape or a romantic horse carriage ride to the national park " Hohe Tauern ". Several days - with 1 HP – on a trekking tour in the Gasteiner mountains provides you with that special feeling of being as one with nature. A rustic experience, where horse and rider merge into a team.

Gold-washing in "Boeckstein" - in the Middle Ages instead of gold from the mountains, gold was derived from the rivers; the so-called soap-gold was won by washing the river-sands. Consequently, the mention of interest paid in gold was found repeatedly in documents; this interest was paid as a tribute to the landlord and was only gained by gold washing. In the 13th and 14th century up to 100 Gold-diggers were to be found along the gold rich waters (rural supplementary income). Today everyone can try his luck, and it is by far not as laborious as in former times. A family fun of extra class!
