How to reach us

It doesn’t matter if you prefer flying, taking the train or being behind the wheel yourself – we are easy to get to whatever your chosen mode of transport.

By car

From MUNICH approx. 2 hours

From SALZBURG approx. 1 hour:
Travel south on the Tauern motorway until Bischhofshofen, take the Gasteinertal exit, follow federal highway 167 to Gasteinertal

From INNSBRUCK approx. 3 hours:
Take the motorway through Wörgl, then federal highway 312 through St Johann in Tyrol to Lofer, change to federal highway 311 through Zell am See to Lend, then federal highway 167 to Gastein. Or motorway Kufstein – Salzburg – Villach, take the Gasteinertal exit, follow federal highway 167 to Gasteinertal.

From the south:
Travel through Villach, Möllbrücke and Obervellach to Mallnitz and arrive in Gastein via the motorail.

By train

Euro trains, Intercity trains and Express trains make stops at Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gastein, but not all of them stop at the Dorfgastein Railway Station. Taxi and autobus connections are constantly available to the specific parts of town. The closest loading point for motorail trains is in Bischofshofen. A pick-up and delivery taxi service will take care of your luggage transfer.
