In the Impuls Hotel we always have the current daily snow & weather information and advise our guests every day so that they will enjoy an ideal ski day. The ski bus stop is located right in front of the hotel. The shuttle to the Schlossalmbahn leaves every ten minutes (5 minutes journey).
Skiing & snowboarding in Gastein - attractions in the ski region
Particularly children and teenagers have a lot of fun in Gastein’s ski region. In the practice area in the ski centre Angertal, the small ones playfully learn how to ski. For teenagers, the snow park Gastein on the Stubnerkogel is a popular meeting point. From the terrace of the Stubneralm, you will have a perfect view of the snow park. Skiers and non-skiers alike are invited to visit the panoramic platform Glocknerblick where they can dare to walk over the 140 m suspension bridge over the descent - The view from up there is breath-taking.
Thanks to state-of-the-art lifts, the Gastein Valley belongs to the most attractive ski regions in Austria. Also, snow is almost always guaranteed. The highest top station in the high-Alpine Sportgastein is located on 2,700 metres of altitude. Thanks to extensive snow-making, snow is guaranteed until the end of April also in the other ski regions.

Everybody will get what he is looking for in Ski Amadé: This is to say, perfectly prepared slopes in all levels of difficulty. 145 blue pistes with a total length of 280 kilometres, 181 red pistes with over 483 kilometres and 30 black pistes with 97 kilometres. In order for the pistes to be always perfectly prepared and the cable cars to run smoothly, 4,500 snow-making facilities and hundreds of employees will work diligently!
